What We Treat

Spine Pain– Lower back pain can be caused by a number of conditions, from traumatic fractures to scoliosis. Treatment largely depends on the diagnosed condition, but symptoms can generally be addressed without surgery.

Herniated Discs – A herniated disc is the product of a tear in the outer ring of an intervertebral disc, which is a cartilaginous structure that connects the spinal vertebrae. When a disc is herniated, its exposed center begins to protrude through the outer ring, placing pressure on surrounding nerves.

Sciatica – Sciatica is a pain, tingling, or numbness in the lower back, buttocks, and legs. Though not a medical condition in and of itself, it’s a common symptom of other orthopedic conditions.

Lumbar Spinal Stenosis – Lumbar spinal stenosis is a narrowing of the spinal canal as it runs through the lower back. Like other spinal conditions, it’s usually a product of wear and tear, but it can be caused by trauma or a congenital disorder.
