Lynn Keppel is a nationally certified physician assistant, licensed in the state of New York. She specializes in orthopedics, with a focus on sports medicine, under the direction of Dr. Leon Popovitz, and first-assists in the operating room at Lenox Hill Hospital. Prior to working at New York Bone & Joint Specialists, she practiced orthopedics for 4 years, with a focus on hand and upper extremity as well as sports medicine. She also has 2 years of experience in Pain Management. Lynn graduated magna cum laude from St. Johns University and St. Vincents Medical Centers of NY in 2003 with a Bachelor’s Degree and Physician Assistant certificate.

About
Throughout her schooling and after graduation, she served her community as an assistant girls basketball coach, and she remained active in competitive sports, including softball, volleyball, and kickboxing. Lynn was recognized by Who’s Who Among Executive & Professional Women in 2005 and Who’s Who Among Physician Assistants in 2007. She is a current, active member of AAPA and NYSSPA and has been a guest lecturer at PACE University.
